If My Vehicle Fails It's MOT, Do You Charge For A Retest?
No Fee Will Be Charged For A Retest If Your Vehicle Is Repaired By Us Or Is Returned For A Retest Before The End Of The Next Working Day IF The Failure Is For One Of The Following:

Boot lid
Brake pedal anti-slip device
Direction indicators
Doors
Drop-sides
Fuel Filler Cap
Hazard Warning
Horn
Lamps
Loading door
Mirrors
Rear reflectors
Registration plates
Seat belts (but not anchorages)
Seats
Sharp edges or projections
Steering wheel
Tailboard
Tailgate
Tyres *
Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
Windscreen and glass
Windscreen washer and wipers
Wheels *
A Fee Of £9.95 Is Applicable For Retests That Do Not Meet This Criteria
If The Vehicle Is Not Presented For Re-Test Within 10 Working Days, A Full Re-Test Fee Applies.
How Long Does It Take & Can I Wait?
The MOT Test Takes Up To 1 Hour.
We Have An Extremely Comfortable Waiting/ Viewing Area Should You Wish To Wait While The Test Is Performed.
If My Vehicle Fails, Can I Drive Home?
You are only able drive your car home if your previous MOT certificate is still valid or if no ‘Dangerous’ failures were found during the MOT. If the are 'Dangerous' failures the vehicle will need to be repaired before it can be driven again.
We strongly advise customers to get all failures repaired as soon as possible to ensure the safety of your vehicle and your legal right to drive it on the road.
