A New Look for Meadowfield Auto Centre

At Meadowfield Auto Centre in Ponteland, Northumberland, we've given the exterior of our garage a complete new look for 2025.

New branding, signage and a refreshed exterior have transformed the appearance of our premises on Meadowfield Industrial Estate, creating a much stronger identity for Meadowfield and bringing the outside of the building in line with the standards we've been working towards throughout the business.

It's a very visible change — but it's about considerably more than appearance.

Since taking over the garage in December 2016 and reopening under the Meadowfield Auto Centre name in January 2017, we've continually invested in the business. The workshop, equipment, team, processes and customer experience have all developed over the years.

Eventually, it was time for the building itself to catch up.

A new identity for our Ponteland garage

The new exterior has been designed to make Meadowfield instantly recognisable.

Our updated branding gives the garage a cleaner, more modern and professional appearance while retaining something that's very important to us: Meadowfield is still a local, independently owned garage in Ponteland.

We're not trying to make an independent garage look like a main dealer or a national fast-fit chain.

We want Meadowfield to look like Meadowfield.

The new exterior is about giving the business its own identity and making the standards we're working towards visible before a customer even walks through the door.

Nearly a decade of developing Meadowfield

When Meadowfield Auto Centre began, the objective wasn't simply to put a new name above an existing garage.

We've spent the years since continually developing what we offer.

Today, Meadowfield Auto Centre provides MOT testing, car servicing, vehicle repairs, tyres, brakes, clutches and vehicle diagnostics for customers in Ponteland and the surrounding areas of Northumberland and Newcastle.

Behind those services has been continued investment in workshop equipment, technology, training, our team and the way customers experience having their vehicle maintained or repaired.

We've previously transformed our reception and customer waiting area, and we've continued making improvements throughout the workshop.

The exterior refurbishment is the next visible stage of that development.

Raising the standard of the independent garage

We believe customers should expect more from a modern independent garage.

That doesn't mean losing the things that make independents different. Personal service, knowing our customers, honest advice and being accountable for the work we carry out remain fundamental to Meadowfield.

It means combining those things with professional facilities, modern diagnostic equipment, trained technicians, clear communication and consistently high standards of vehicle maintenance and repair.

It's an approach that has increasingly seen Meadowfield recognised beyond Ponteland, including recognition within the wider UK independent garage and motor industry.

But awards and recognition aren't the reason for making improvements like this.

They're a consequence of continually looking at the business and asking a simple question:

Building a garage we're proud to put our name on

Some improvements at Meadowfield are technical and will never be particularly visible to customers.

This one certainly is.

The new exterior represents another stage in the development of Meadowfield Auto Centre, almost a decade after we began building the business.

We're incredibly proud of how it looks, but we're even more proud of what sits behind the new branding.

The same independent team. The same Ponteland garage. And the same determination to keep raising our standards year after year.
