Meadowfield Auto Centre Sponsors Ponteland United Zebras
Supporting grassroots football in our local community as Meadowfield Auto Centre becomes a sponsor of Ponteland United Zebras Under-9s.
We're delighted to announce that Meadowfield Auto Centre is sponsoring Ponteland United Zebras Under-9s for their upcoming season.
The Meadowfield name will be appearing on the team's famous black-and-white stripes as the young players represent Ponteland United FC throughout the season.
As a local independent business based in Ponteland, we're particularly pleased to be able to support a grassroots team right here in our own community.
And we have to admit — the Meadowfield logo looks pretty good on those stripes.
Supporting grassroots football in Ponteland
Meadowfield Auto Centre has been based on Meadowfield Industrial Estate in Ponteland, Northumberland, since opening under the Meadowfield name in 2017.
During that time we've always tried to support the community around us.
Our customers live locally, our team has strong connections with Ponteland and we're proud to be an independent business serving the area.
Supporting Ponteland United Zebras Under-9s gives us another opportunity to put something back into the community that supports us.
Grassroots football depends on volunteers, families, coaches, local organisations and businesses working together to give young players the opportunity to train, compete and enjoy the game.
We're very happy that Meadowfield can play a small part in that.
Meadowfield on the black and white stripes
There's something particularly satisfying about seeing the Meadowfield Auto Centre name on the front of a football shirt.
We're normally associated with MOT testing, car servicing, vehicle repairs and diagnostics in Ponteland, so seeing the logo away from the workshop and representing a local junior football team is something a little different.
It also reflects something that's been important to Meadowfield since the early days of the business.
Being a local independent garage means being part of the place in which you operate.
Over the years we've supported local events, organisations and activities across Ponteland and the surrounding area. Sponsoring a Ponteland United junior team continues that relationship with our community.
Good luck, Zebras!
We'll be following the team throughout the upcoming season and wish all of the players, coaches and families at Ponteland United Zebras Under-9s the very best of luck.
Hopefully there will be plenty of wins along the way.
Whatever the results, we're proud to see the Meadowfield name on the shirts.
Good luck, Zebras — from everyone at Meadowfield Auto Centre!
