Now Open!
Meadowfield Auto Centre Now Open in Ponteland
Meadowfield Auto Centre is now open at Meadowfield Industrial Estate in Ponteland, providing MOT testing, car servicing, repairs and general vehicle maintenance for motorists in Ponteland and the surrounding area.
The independent garage officially opened as Meadowfield Auto Centre on 3 January 2017, following a change of ownership and a new identity for the long-established garage site.
A new independent garage for Ponteland
Meadowfield Auto Centre is owned and run by Stephen Browne, who already has a long association with the garage.
Stephen first came to the workshop on school work experience before later returning to work at the garage when it traded as A&K Motors. After gaining further experience in the motor trade, he has now returned to take over the business and begin the next chapter for the garage under the Meadowfield Auto Centre name.
Although the name has changed, the site itself has a long history of looking after vehicles in the local community.
MOT testing, servicing and repairs in Ponteland
From our workshop at Meadowfield Industrial Estate, Ponteland, Meadowfield Auto Centre provides a range of garage services for cars and light vehicles, including:
- MOT testing
- Car servicing

- Brake repairs
- Clutch repairs

Our aim is to provide Ponteland motorists with a friendly, reliable local independent garage where vehicles can be maintained, serviced and repaired under one roof.
Whether your car is due its annual MOT, requires a service, has developed a fault or simply needs routine maintenance, we're here to help.
Building a garage for the future
Taking over an established local garage is an exciting opportunity, but this is only the beginning.
Over time, we want to continue investing in the workshop, equipment and services we can offer while maintaining the personal service people expect from a local independent business.
Most importantly, we want to build a garage that people in Ponteland and the surrounding Northumberland area can trust to look after their vehicles properly.
There is plenty of work ahead of us, but we're looking forward to seeing where the journey takes us.
