Stephen & Ellie Get Married

September 2024 brought a very different kind of milestone for Meadowfield Auto Centre's Stephen and Ellie — they got married.

Customers at Meadowfield will already know Stephen and Ellie as the couple behind the independent garage in Ponteland, working together to continue developing a business that has become a huge part of their lives.

This month, however, there were no cars, MOTs or workshop jobs involved.

It was time for a wedding.

From working together to married life

Stephen has owned Meadowfield Auto Centre in Ponteland since taking over the garage in December 2016, while Ellie joined the business in 2020 after previously working within the BMW and MINI dealer network.

Since then, Meadowfield has very much become a family business.

Stephen and Ellie work alongside each other at the garage while raising their young family, making the business and family life fairly difficult to separate at times.

September 2024 therefore marks another important chapter in their story together.

Stephen and Ellie are officially Mr and Mrs Browne.

The people behind Meadowfield

Meadowfield has always been about more than the name above the workshop.

As a locally owned independent garage in Ponteland, Northumberland, the people behind the business are a major part of what makes it what it is.

Customers speak to us, know us and often see the same faces each time they visit.

That's one of the things we love about running an independent business.

So although this isn't our usual Meadowfield news, it felt like a milestone worth sharing.
